Access control
Who can sign in and what each person can see. Your admin decides, and Exalt sets up the sign-in, role and session controls with you.
How access works, and who sets it.
Sign-in
People sign in with an employee ID and PIN, or with single sign-on. Your admin manages who has an account.
Single sign-on, cloud identity provider
Sign-in can go through a cloud identity provider you choose. It then needs a connection to that provider.
Single sign-on, directory on your network
Sign-in can go through a directory on your network, so it stays inside.
Roles
Each person has a role. Your admin manages accounts and roles.
Sessions
Your admin can end any session.
Uploaded documents
Who may read an uploaded document is set by the person who approves it in Exalt Ledger.
Connected sources
Connected sources keep the permissions set in the source system.
Team scoping and custom rules
Your admin can narrow a connected source by team, or with custom rules per source or folder.
Where the line is.
- Access on the box follows your identity decisions. It does not replace your identity policy.
- With a cloud identity provider, sign-in needs a connection to it.
- SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and HIPAA certified.
